Not what I ordered but still good

These AJOYIB brass inserts for plastic are very commonly used in injection molded parts to make strong screw posts for mounting screws. Recently brass inserts have become popular for use in 3D printing and this is the main reason I bought them. Unfortunately, due to a calculation error, I didn't realize that I ordered the straight version of the insert and not the grooved one. Straight is definitely not suitable for 3D printed inserts. So if you're looking for one like me, be sure to get a knurled insert. That being said, the direct insert is technically suitable for 3D printing, but definitely not designed for it, and you can tell when you're putting it in and when you're putting it on. Generally knurled ones for 3D printing have a taper to fit the hole properly, but I've had some issues with plastic coming back through them, which my other knurled kit from another company didn't have. I also find that the brass on them is not as high quality as what some other companies offer. Overall they are good but not what I was looking for. I leave them for 3D printing applications that don't require nearly as much torque or for testing. You must order a knurled kit.
