Review on FT1129A Internal Transmission Cartridge Filter by Kipp Amundson

I have never had a transmission problem with a transmission filter. I'm not saying it's not a problem, but they rarely shut up. These are very coarse filters designed to filter out random birds, bugs or mice that might get into your transmission. :) However, since I was serving nearby Park Avenue, which belonged to my late PHIL, I decided to go "to the end". Also, I've had this car for 5 years (WARNING: NEVER sell your car to a neighbor. You are ALWAYS liable!) Installed a new filter and 7 liter Valvoline Synthetic ATF. Neighbors should have another 5 years of reliable service IF they finally learn how to check the oil and I'm reminding them. NEVER SELL A CAR TO ANYONE YOU KNOW. NEVER!
