Usage: I have several smartboards (my own design) scattered around my house. I also have a small USB board that I use to reprogram the flash on these boards. The USB board features a Silicon Graphics CP2102 USB-UART bridge and a small microprocessor. It is USB powered but only draws about 10mA. I use this product with a 10ft micro USB cable and up to a 50ft CAT6 cable to connect my computer in my office to any board I want to flash. I am powering my USB board via a cable with no additional power supply. Everything is working fine.
