I used this fan at Disney once and it worked great. For three months it was stored in a backpack in a closet and broke (the backpack was not numb). The hinge holding one of the fans no longer stays in place, leaving a fan unsupported and dangling. The fan itself works but is useless, it doesn't stay in place. I would recommend buying a neck fan that doesn't have a flimsy rubber that bends the fan. I had to invest in a neck fan that is made entirely of hard plastic and you can't adjust the direction of the fan.
