So here is the information about these boots: Our use: for scuba diving in warm and cold water.1. Overall a great product if you are looking for a more durable dive boot that you will soon be walking around in. Particularly good for walking over rocky terrain to reach diving waters. Neoprene is a lower density of 6mm and will likely shrink or thin slightly over time. I love the rubber over the shoe features and the fin closure. The zipper mechanism is plastic, which I'm not sure about. We have used ours in Scuba Pro jet fins and they have worked well. They are also of great value.2. What sucks: Size: 7/8 Small: Maybe it's my fault but we ordered 7/8 or Small first. What the hell does that mean? I thought it meant men's 7 and women's 8. My wife is a women's 7 1/2 and these boots were WAY big. I'm actually a size 8 1/2 or 9 and these boots fit me perfectly. 4/5 X Small: Again, I'm pretty sure it's my fault, but huh? As the small ones were too big I just ordered them and they fit my 7 1/2 wife a little loosely and with a pair of 3mm neoprene socks they fit perfectly. Okay, so we kept both.
