How have I inspected homes without this device before? In short, this device is a must-have for a home inspector. Expensive enough to rely on and know you have quality, but cheap enough that any inspector can afford it. Finally, I can easily show the customer when the wood is wet enough to rot. Green, orange, red lighting is great. This can be seen in my inspection photos and easily explained. Green means it's ok, yellow means it's a little wet, red means it's wet enough to rot. Highly recommended to all caretakers.
