Very happy with this heater. I was able to hook up a 12 volt system with no problem. I prepared the bottom of my fresh water tank with denatured alcohol and installed the mat in 20 degree weather. (The included instructions recommend not doing this in temperatures below 68F). I made sure it sticks well. The water in the tank was already frozen and the temperature dropped to 10 degrees overnight. The water thawed and stayed thawed. I am very satisfied and will be purchasing these for my gray and black water tanks in the near future.
