Arrived twice broken!

Do not buy this article! When I first ordered this item, it was defective. So I replaced it and the replacement worked fine. So I built it up and decided to buy a second one. The second was also defective and the first soon stopped working. Too bad Revain even offers this product. For the price you can get much better ones at the motorhome shop or on the website. Don't waste your time with this cheap product. Revain, please replace this item with a higher quality product! Especially for such a…

Works perfectly! in Motorhome Parts & Accessories

Very happy with this heater. I was able to hook up a 12 volt system with no problem. I prepared the bottom of my fresh water tank with denatured alcohol and installed the mat in 20 degree weather. (The included instructions recommend not doing this in temperatures below 68F). I made sure it sticks well. The water in the tank was already frozen and the temperature dropped to 10 degrees overnight. The water thawed and stayed thawed. I am very satisfied and will be purchasing these for my gray and

STAY FAR FAR AWAY - Sanitary

Okay I don't usually write reviews unless I love a product. After installing 3 of these and almost immediately after it broke I thought I'd let people know how poor the quality control was on this heater. Obviously they stick and almost impossible to remove (which is a good thing) until you have to remove them to install others due to bug. The company treated them well but I got tired of changing and returning them. I even had one that didn't work when it arrived, so apparently I didn't install

a must if you live glamping in the cold

Living in the south I can rent a motorhome almost all year round and don't have to worry too much about the winter temperatures. Well this winter we did some trips to some places in Albuquerque, New Mexico and let's just say I wasn't as prepared as I should have been. My fresh water tank froze when the temp dropped below 0, even when we were cranking the stove. I suspect the bottom of my tank is too far from the thermal envelope. The Facon heating pad has solved this problem. It was very easy…

The best tank heater for vans I have found so far.

Seems to be a quality control issue. My dealer installed three of these on his Winnie Drop. Two failed immediately and were replaced by the dealer for a penny. I just had one of those bugs so I bought a replacement here (after checking out a few other options which showed me it was the best I could buy for my tanks). Unfortunately I did some electrical testing on the heater and found that it only draws 4-4.2 amps at 13.5 volts (not sure why this changes). It should draw 4.8 amps, so I'm…

Great heater but worked all the time, no thermostat control

Turned on when it was 60 degrees F outside. Constant switching on wastes valuable energy in the mobile home. Since the heater was shorted when delivered, it got hot and wouldn't turn off. As an added safeguard, I install an additional, more accurate thermostat that will not allow any of the 5 heaters to turn on unless the outside temperature is 33 degrees Fahrenheit. The optional thermostat turns on the 12 VDC relay. The outside temperature drops to 33 degrees. This should result in significant
