Review on Lipper International 7218 Kitchen Chopping by Michelle Carter

Bought this board as a "starter board" for good cutting boards (e.g. non-indestructible plastic or bamboo) and it has been working for 6 months now with no problems! removed the googo-gon sticker (used as per the instructions which include some time when googo-gon is on the goo) and there were no major issues. I oiled the board with mineral oil it felt like 20 times the first few days until it stopped absorbing the oil straight away then I oiled it about every month from then. I also sanded it, but that was mainly because I like well-sanded wood, not because it was really necessary. I'm trying to be "nice" but I definitely leave wet things like tomatoes on it longer than I should so it's doubly impressive it hasn't had any issues yet. If this goes on for a year, I consider it a very well spent $15!
