That bothered me at first. I followed the instructions almost exactly; Heat up, cool down a bit, speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down, etc. By the time I got to the final break-in sequence, they were badly fading from the heat. Let them cool at the grocery store then head home, apparently they sat perfectly on my non-inverted slotted and slotted rotors. Since then they've been working great. The bite and feel are excellent. I'm less concerned about durability than performance, so I'll leave that to others to comment on. I'm excited about these features and will be putting them in another car soon.
