I bought this speaker cable after looking at several other brands hoping to get away from Monster and its high prices. I have never been dissatisfied with the quality of Monster products, only with the price. Also, I've always believed that "you get what you pay for". Well, I'm happy to say that I feel like I've achieved that, and it's partly because of my choice. Speaker cable arrived on time and exactly as described. The roll measured exactly 50 feet (yes I measured that) and was of excellent quality. It's not 100% copper, you can see a hint of aluminum if you look at the end of the wire, right in the middle of the wire. But I don't recall GLS Audio ever claiming it was 100% copper, just calling it premium 12 gauge wire. I haven't analyzed the exact copper to aluminum ratio, but I can tell you that there is a lot of copper in this wire. Probably 90% or more, which is in the "premium" range. I used it to bi-wire my Paradigm 7 monitor and the sound was amazing. I would highly recommend GLS Audio and their top quality 12 gauge cable. I bought two 50ft spools, my only complaint is that I would have preferred a 100ft spool. But anyway, it didn't matter much.
