Review on 🧊 Enhance Your Refrigerator with everydrop by Whirlpool Ice and Water Filter 3, EDR3RXD1, Single-Pack by Chris Durandis

I've bought several of these filters (old blue and new white version) and they've always been great. The water tastes fresh and clean every time and seems to filter the typically bad-tasting city water well. The filter mentions that you should run about 4 gallons through it before drinking anything out of it. I suspect some of the people complaining about the taste of plastic aren't washing it properly. It takes quite a long time to manually flush 4 gallons through the filter. I simply run a small hose to the sink and use my shower curtain rod to hold the valve open while I sit back and relax. It takes about 10.5 minutes to go through four gallons (pictured). I recommend calculating the flow rate of your fridge before trying this method as I'm sure every fridge is different.
