The router I got, also from D-Link, works fine. But this part broke my Lenovo Y500 Gaming PC with BSOD. Software could not be uninstalled, files could not be deleted. I had to go into safe mode, manually delete files and do a system restore from that mode. (System restore from desktop failed twice.) I'm pretty sure I followed all the instructions, but even if I made a mistake, the results shouldn't have been so disastrous. WiFi 11N built in and I wanted to upgrade to 11ac. I know the built in drivers (Intel) have been disabled. When I finally got the system back there was screens and screens full of error messages in the Event Viewer, all related to a COM error that must have been caused by the drivers for this device. Use with caution. I won't risk it again. going back.
