Nice razor, but not as great as I thought
Works, but...well, not really well. I have a Merkur 34C and have tried switching between them with the same blade. Now I prefer the Merkur Razor and the nib gets dusty unless I need it for something else. The butterfly mechanism is a bit more difficult to clean, the Merkur is easy to clean, while the Feather takes some time. If you're just starting out, get the Merkur 34C, see how it works, and then look at other products that might suit you better.
