This is by far the best product when your hands are so cracked even washing with soap hurts. In this case, apply it generously and after a few hours your hands will already feel much better. I always have this with me because in winter the skin on my hands tears because I usually forget to use it as a preventive measure. Use much less (pea size) if your hands are just dry. I often use it in winter to keep my arms flexible. I have ordered more during this Covid-19 pandemic because all the handwash and sanitizing alcohols have made my skin dry and my husband kept stealing my other one. The product is actually odorless and translucent white in color. When applied to dry hands, it looks white for a few minutes, then disappears as it absorbs into your skin. If you use less like they suggest it will absorb faster and won't look white. This doesn't bother me as I will be using it while watching TV to give it enough time to soak. Also useful for office workers who have air conditioners everywhere as you can rub them with the back of your hand and leave them on. Do your job while you do your job.
