The assembly isn't silent and nightmarish, but my kid loves it!

Okay. I'm someone who finds assembling Ikea furniture relaxing. Montage doesn't bother me. This was the WORST thing I have ever assembled and I have an Ikea closet system that I assembled myself. It came out of the box as a pink sleeve and lots of wheels, plastic, axles, stickers etc. The instruction manual looked like a bad fax machine. The images were so dark it was hard to see how they fitted together, and there were no words on them, just letters that were hard to make out. To mount the wheels on the axle and on the car, you need to use pliers and a wrench at the same time - be prepared to assemble everything and consider throwing everything out the door. After a few hours we had a working machine that felt generally stable. I'm still not entirely sure if the harness is on the right track but after putting it together 4 different ways there doesn't seem to be a right way and I'm holding the toddler in place so I did given up. pretty roomy. The cup holders fit water bottles, cans and of course leak proof cups. My LO is now 18 months old and he is doing well and I will be able to ride him for a long time. She loves to walk in it. I have to be careful with the time of day as there is no canopy. Now I paid extra for a silent version of this toy. Do not worry. It's NOT quiet. He stumbled quite loudly on the sidewalk. I can only imagine what the silent version is like. I don't think it's the noise cancellation. It's worth the extra cost as it's noisy. It's also not worth the damn maneuvering. If you need to rotate, move sideways, or anything else that isn't straight, pull it at the end. It rolls well over most bumps, but we encountered a couple of big bumps in the pavement that forced us to wheelie. my kid loves it I'll always have nightmares about having to collect it and then hearing it rumble through the streets.
