Review on KMC Bicycle Chain Speed 32 Inch by Alex Panda

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Very good chain, good price and comes with one missing link/master link.

*Original Review* I used it on a 2010 Diamondback Outlook mountain bike with Shimano 3x7 drivetrain. I first looked at a Shimano HG71 chain but it costs about $28 compared to this one which was $12 when I got it and my original chain was a KMC which lasted about 9 years. although I should have replaced it a year ago. very simple, just align the old chain with the new chain and remember that the old one will be stretched more. Also remember that if your original chain had a link pin, you will need to remove the extra half link in the new chain to account for the missing link as it counts as an outer link. *updated review* I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. This chain has lasted me just over 600 miles in less than a year. I rode in dry weather, I had a new freewheel which I cleaned and lubricated after each ride. After 600 km it had more than 0.5% wear and after 630 km it was already 0.75%. To make matters worse, the second pair I just attempted to install has a broken missing link that doesn't snap properly and is stuck. Next time I'll spend more money for better stuff.
