Interferes with MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Wi-Fi

I bought this because the listing said it was compatible with a Macbook Pro. While it works well with the Macbook Pro in terms of charging, USB data transfer and connectivity, it destroys the 2.4GHz signal and you can only connect to 2.4GHz networks if you are located directly above the router. Does not interfere with 5GHz. I also have a HooToo USB-C hub and it's working fine so I don't know if it's a shielding or grounding issue or something else, but WARNING: Disables 2.4Ghz WiFi on 15-inch -MacBook Pro models 2016.
