This is a very good player to convert vinyl to digital files on your computer. I found the supplied pickup a bit tinny at a high level, but easy to exchange for a higher-quality pickup. The player has many features, especially considering the price. The direct drive motor has a very accurate RPM and excellent starting speed. Not sure how it will hold up as a DJ machine but I only use it for digital LP conversion. I had an issue with a tonearm not making proper contact, but after inserting it a few times, the issue resolved itself. The tonearm fits a standard shell. Adjusting the pen pressure is a bit fiddly, but once set it works well. I really appreciate the light illuminating the pen. This really helps you find your starting groove. This turntable sounds good and is worth the money.
