This cleaning brush is good for clothes but I don't think it will be very effective for dirty shoes. The bristles are too soft for something very dirty. I often used an old toothbrush to scrub the stain on the laundry. This brush is a much gentler way to remove the stain without damaging the fabric of your clothing. The brush lies very well in the hand. It just feels really comfortable in my hand and allows for easier brushing for longer periods of time. One star deducted for the soft bristles. Otherwise I think this is a great brush for cleaning clothes. I recommend it.
