Review on 🔧 Enhanced Park Tool IR-1.2 Internal Cable Routing Kit for Optimal Bicycle Frame Maintenance by Wendell Chapman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Required for internal cable routing

This is required if you have internal cable routing. While you could probably buy some thread magnets to do the same with shifter or brake cables, this is a must for hydraulic and Di2 cables. I swapped out my SLX brakes for new XT brakes which required a new hose to run through my Top Fuel. You simply screw a blue wire into the end of the hose and pull out the old hose that pulled the blue wire through the frame. From there it's just retreat. At one point I had to pull hard to get the hose around the botton mount and the threaded eyelet stayed in, allowing me to pull the cable all the way through the frame. Two cable changes on my road bike and I feel like it's already paid for itself. I downgraded it one star because of the price of everything in blue. This is a five star product aside from the cost.
