Review on Protein Vanilla Replacement Superfoods Carlyle by Sarah Richards

Good Healthy Ingredients

I have to say I was impressed with the quality of this protein powder. I find the ingredients very impressive. I love great tasting protein powders but am always very skeptical of those that are too tasty. For example, if they taste more like a Hershey shake than a chocolate protein shake, then you know they're heavily loaded with sugar and other additives that degrade the quality of the protein powder itself. I found this vanilla flavor to be a very pleasant scent. It wasn't cute at all. However, I'm not sure I like the recommendations on how much powder to add to how much water. In my opinion, 10 to 12 ounces of water with two scoops of this protein powder is not enough. I use a Ninja blender with a smoothie attachment, so I more or less measured the water by eye, but I can tell you with certainty that I poured in about 16-20 ounces of water. I just like to dilute it a bit as I find it more comfortable and runny for my personal taste. The taste is subtle and pleasant, especially when diluted, like me. I use it as a post-workout drink to help my muscles recover from strength training, which I do 5-6 times a week. I found it very suitable as a post-workout recovery drink and on par with other whey proteins that I normally consume. I mean you have to take this with a grain of salt because it's hard to quantify the results in comparison, but I can say I hardly notice the difference between this and your branded whey protein. I haven't tried it for cooking or anything like that, but I know that these powders can be used in many different recipes for baking high-protein snacks. Overall I felt this was a high quality protein that certainly fits the bill and got the job done for me and my needs. I found it very easy to take off and light on my stomach. For all these reasons, I definitely recommend it.
