Difficult to put on
These straps look nice and are easy to use, but they don't do what I need most, which is to hold them in place when I put them on. I use them to tie my kayak to my car's roof rack and when I tighten them they don't stay put. The straps simply slide through the buckles when real tension is added. Not quite, but enough that I wasn't sure if they would hold the kayak in place during the ride. I believe I can use them for other purposes but I cannot trust them for the purpose they were purchased for.
