The R5 1600 was originally manufactured in 2017 using a 14nm process. This update is based on the 12nm Zen+ process, also known as the 2xxx series. This processor is well overclockable and will be able to keep up with the 2600/x depending on the overclocking. This is a steal for this price/performance ratio.//Update: I've been running 4Ghz for a week with no problems, this is amazing value for money.
