Totally amazed that the Chinese company that made this light expected customers to sit for 3 hours and tiny beads , thread loops and shells! I've read reviews that mention assembly but thought that was an exaggeration of the amount of work involved so I took a chance. I'm patient of course, but wow, that was ridiculous. Only buy if you have multiple children with small hands who need discipline around the house. I spent two hours threading the beads and another hour attaching them to tiny, annoying rotating holes in the baseplate. I think it's probably best to attach the cords before hanging, as threading each cord through the grommet on the ceiling can be a nightmare. Remember that you need to craft 50 strands of pearls and shells. The instructions are a joke. see fig. After a while I got to know the best system for me. I put two rings on each bead and then added shells as a final step to connect them. The instructions say to wear gloves. what gloves? Should I go and buy special gloves? Instead, I just tried very hard not to touch the shiny chrome plate with my fingers. However, you can touch pearls and shells. The light is one of those products that looks glamorous from afar, but up close you can see how cheap they are. I don't think I would buy this mount again. It was a demonic craft that took much longer than I expected. They use lightbulbs which I'm not used to. and I just don't feel that this light is expensive. What's wrong with the weird industrial cutout on the base? The light is trying to look trendy, but it has markings that look like a bug. as if they were using some kind of scrap metal. Also five attachment points. This device is just another example of how poorly processed food is these days, but people don't seem to mind as long as it looks good from afar.
