Review on OPTRONICS B156HAN01 2 Full HD SUBSTITUTE REPLACEMENT by Tim Beardsley

This panel looks amazing. Color reproduction is bright and accurate, and dynamic range is very good with deep blacks and bright whites. I used it to replace the screen on my 2017 Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Series laptop. You know, with a completely horrible screen. Installing this screen really was like night and day, and its color quality is only surpassed by my 24-inch Dell Ultrasharp desktop monitor. Except it's only been two months and there are already five stuck sub-pixels, three of which happened within the 30 days that I installed the panel in my laptop. Two blue, two green and one red. I've never had a screen with so many dead pixels, and I've never had a screen with *any* pixels dying so quickly. I had the fastest pixel die I've ever had after four or five years on my ThinkPad T520. If the dead pixel count exceeds 6 before the end of the year, I will change my rating to 1 star. The only reason I haven't returned it or asked for a refund is because from a usability perspective it's not that big of a deal because when the screen shows brighter colors I don't really notice it and I don't watch movies on this one Screen, immersion isn't a big deal, but I don't think I'll be buying another AU Optronics screen back. if it's not a REALLY good deal.
