Review on Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20: A Dynamic Running Shoe for Men by Leon Johnsson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

15 (X-wide) The best shoe a tall guy could dream of

For starters, I am 6ft 5 inches tall, weigh 335 pounds and have been diagnosed with hammer toe. I went up to 365 pounds after my wife had a baby and since February I've managed to lose 30 pounds, albeit painfully. It got to the point where my old running shoes were more of a hindrance than a help, so I decided to look for new shoes that would help me continue to lose weight and train towards my ultimate goal of running a half marathon in November. . After going through countless lists of the best running shoes and looking for shoes for heavier runners, I stumbled upon these. I'm not used to spending a lot of money on shoes, but with how far I've come and the pain in my feet after every run, I pulled the trigger. These shoes are everything I hoped for and more! The pillow and the support they provide has eliminated virtually every leg pain as well as the knee pain I have developed. I noticed an immediate increase in endurance and overall comfort during my runs, and even my speed increased! I never thought shoes could make such a big difference, especially for a tall man. Most shoe reviews come from men who are of average height or at least under 300 pounds. Good to know that this shoe's reputation lives on in larger sizes. I am very happy and plan to continue using these shoes for the duration of my training, hopefully into the half marathon and beyond.
