This will not work for fender flares that run 90 degrees to the fender. An example of fender flares for the Jeep Wrangler JK. The manufacturer must take this into account. I put this on my Jeep JK all day (you have to take the fenders off, I have flat fenders) only to then take it off again because the edge closest to the body wouldn't fit. I thought maybe a day in the sun would shed the rubber but it didn't and it looked silly. You really need a T-shaped gasket.
