I bought this for a reason. My JK Sahara sometimes spends weeks in the Florida sun and I needed something to protect the top from UV damage. It worked great. You shouldn't expect $100 quality from a $40 item, but mine has held up great so far, including the straps. heavily stretched, but still usable. The lid's fit at the top in the uppermost position remains fairly good, but with the top down all the way and windows and doors removed (with tubular doors built in), the lid sags a bit, especially in the rain it holds up in puddles that clog up indicate water . Protection is still good. Leaving your Wrangler outdoors with the lid closed for a long period of time will accumulate a lot of dirt on the lid, which after several adjustments and drying will eventually take on a musty appearance. My solution is to blot the cover well with a hose on a warm sunny day and let it dry in the sun. One thing that annoys me is when the side windows are off but the top is up, the velcro on the windows rubs on the top. material and cause premature wear. Now when I use the case this way, I attach Velcro strips over the open top Velcro. The 1 inch strips with a plain non-adhesive backing did the trick. Considering the price still *****
