To my great surprise my 13kg Boston Terrier puppy fits in this tote and doesn't struggle to get out. She didn't like tote bags, but she's quite comfortable in this one. She barely fits in (size XL), but fits. I'm very glad I found a carrier to use. This carrier is not particularly well made, the zippers feel cheap as does everything else about it. The clip that attaches to a dog's collar/harness to hold it is too small to fit the D-ring of the collar I use (it's a pretty standard collar). She can't get out anyway, so it's not too bad, just an indication of how cheap it is to carry. The carrier is quite ergonomic - it doesn't feel too heavy with the dog in it. The other day I carried my pup for about two miles which is great but I'm not sure I could go much further. Also, the next day my legs were sore from being overweight (my back was surprisingly good, which bodes well for this stretcher). Overall it's not a perfect carrier but it works very well for me and my dog.
