I bought these salt and pepper shakers as a cheap replacement for the cheap ones on our breakfast table. They look stylish and modern and are also firm in the hand. I love that they combine salt and pepper in one gadget so it takes up less space on our already cluttered breakfast tray. The grinders on either end work well with whole peppers and coarse salt, and are easily adjusted from fine to coarse as needed. It also holds up a lot more than I expected. At this price I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality and I'm glad it comes with two units so I can keep one on our formal dining table.
