This has got to be the most disappointing purchase I've made in a long time. First, the clock does not keep the correct time and needs to be reset frequently. Setting an alarm time is cumbersome and always takes a few tries to get it right. Perhaps the most annoying thing is the volume of the alarm clock. This volume is not user adjustable. The alarm clock (or radio) starts at a low volume and increases every 5 seconds until it is too loud for normal listening. I double checked the manual and this is the only way it works. To make matters worse, Philips customer service was just as bad. They ended up wanting me to send my new radio back to them postage free and they left me without the clock radio until they fixed the issues I was complaining about. It's good that it was cheap, so now I'm going to buy another one that won't be a Philips product.
