Bought for an emergency/first aid kit. Really good quality and build quality. One thing that sets it apart from most is the size of the internal battery at 2000mAh which not only makes it last longer but also makes it more suitable as a USB emergency charger. Others have 1000 or even less - look carefully. A digital tuner is better than a mechanical one simply because mechanical tuners change frequency so quickly that tuning becomes painful and plastic wheels and guides are more prone to failure. The AAA battery cover has a screw to hold it in place, which can be inconvenient in an emergency if you have batteries but don't have a small Phillips screwdriver. What can I say, I am very happy with the choice.
