This product was purchased for an elderly woman who weighs 125 pounds. We had the previous version for over 3 years which has worn out in the rubber over time so I ordered a new one. The Carex Dual-Level Textured Grip bath rod didn't stay in my tub and after three months of tightening the new product I called the manufacturer to say the rubber grip didn't work. They refused to help me (I would be happy if they sent me new rubber pads to replace the ones on the product) and insisted that I discuss this with the seller. I made it clear that I do not want a refund, I just wanted the item to be safe to use. The seller said they needed to speak to their Carex representative and I ended up on a road trip to nowhere. For safety reasons this product is unusable - I ended up buying another product from a different manufacturer fearing Carex would come out of the tub if my elderly mother used it.
