I use this lens as an addition to the 70-200 / 2.8 on a 1Dx carcass. 70-200/2.8 - shooting duels, 24-105/4 - general plans, group photos. Sometimes I use it as a landscape painter on 5D2. In these cases, when shooting slowly or in good light, there are no complaints. The lack of aperture can affect the dynamic shooting indoors. Some pros: convenient, practical, versatile L-class lens. At the minimum fr on ff - a good landscape painter, at the maximum fr and on the crop - a telephoto. Has cons: a large number of these lenses are not debugged in front-back focus. be sure to check when buying.
