First of all, these are amazing solar panel brackets: well made of durable material and they look great. I have two comments: 1) there is no way to attach the plate to the fixings, and 2) the sealant that came with it is black - even with white fixings. Firstly - the panel cannot just lie in the brackets and stay there while you move around in your RV. I used 3/4" right angle brackets and self tapping screws (another trip to Home Depot). A common complaint about black seal. However, I recently purchased a second set of these mounts. They're good - just know that you'll need something else to attach the fairing. And buy the white seal in advance. Using the supplied black sealer was - messy UPDATE - until I absolutely agree the product page is descriptive (adequate). I CAN SAY that this seller is VERY RESPONSIBLE. I really appreciate it. I don't entirely agree that the documentation was adequate - but my decision was reasonable and the seller and I exchanged many messages. For that I say - thank you!
