I bought these because I saw a YouTube video on how to put panels on an RV without drilling the roof of your RV. I repeated this process and it worked fine. For future panels I might have to go the cheaper route. These are good but expensive. The best news is the panel is still on the roof so I think it was worth it. Good quality and easy installation.

I used them to install two panels on my MH. Easy installation. They are durable and have everything you need. I didn't want to drill as many holes as necessary in the standard brackets for fear of a leaking roof. It didn't have to be drilled. One downside is that they are very stiff and it is best to install them on a very flat part of your roof as they will not flex and will not conform to a curved roof. If you're concerned about speed on the road, mine has handled speeds of up to 70mph.

They fit my setup perfectly. They protect the corners of my panels as well as my leg or arm when I have to work on the roof of my motorhome. They also offer some wind protection and redirect the wind at the corners of my panels, preventing lift in high winds. There is also adequate clearance under the panels to allow the panels to cool, which improves their performance. The gap allows dirt and water to escape easily. Easy to assemble and I think it looks great.

I like their strength and their attachment was easy with glue a bit dirty but it was a hot day and I was up the roof I highly recommend getting small 3M wire clamps. This is how I routed the wires from the outside of my RV to the battery without drilling, no fuss. Installed on a trailer with rounded fiberglass roof. The brackets are attached flush to the roof surface with 3M double-sided tape. I then used single sided gasketing foam to even out the swoosh created by the rounded shape of the roof when the solar panel was laid on. Metal screws are used. First of all, these are amazing solar panel brackets: well made of durable material and they look great. I have two comments: 1) there is no way to attach the plate to the fixings, and 2) the sealant that came with it is black - even with white fixings. Firstly - the panel cannot just lie in the brackets and stay there while you move around in your RV. I used 3/4" right angle brackets and self tapping screws (another trip to Home Depot).
