DISAPPOINTING QUALITY - - - -

Disappointing in every way, starting with the supplied 3/16" drill bit which does not drill through brick only mortar joints in the wall. The screws themselves are of very poor quality as they do not withstand heavy tightening, and many heads break with minimal torque! Those that I have been able to tighten a little, now knowing their weakness, may be due to temperature variations: when I started the project, daytime temperatures over 90 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade, and a few days later when the cold set in with falling temperatures (75 degrees) and heavy rain, I found that 3 (three) of those screws in the wall had broken after I had just (!) checked the hand tightness they broke right after threading them in and the rest of course stayed in the wall giving me a problem as to where to put the replacement pieces! Since I'm now afraid that when winter comes and we'll get even higher temperature swings, I started a project where I spent days in a temperature of 90 degrees. what can fall apart! Let's hope not, but that's why I decided to send the leftovers back! YOU ARE WARNING! You might get some of the good batches as they have pretty high ratings, but who knows? CONCLUSION I CANNOT RECOMMEND THESE SCREWS.
