It's been a lifesaver
I got this because I was always hot in my classes. I liked how it was plain black, as it fits my style and it doesn't create any unnecessary attention while I'm in class. It comes with a carrying pouch, but I never use that. I also ended up taking the tassel off of the end. The only issue I have with it is that one of the 'blades' of the fan ended up cracking the entire length of the 'blade'. It only slightly interferes with usage, so I'm still using it. Other than that, it's great.
