, I have used this in my work and personal car. The vents in my machine are vertical while those in my working machine are horizontal. No matter what car I use this phone holder in, it fits. I can rotate the clip that holds the vents in any direction, so it's very versatile. When it comes to holding my phone I can let it hold my personal phone which is much smaller than my work phone which is slightly larger with a case on it. Even with a case on my work phone, it still holds my work phone. When it comes to closing this phone holder, it opens a lot wider than I thought it would. When it puffs on my or my work phone, I don't let it go until I press the button on the back. To unlock your phone, just press and hold the button and the phone will unlock. Very convenient and useful with the hole at the bottom as I can keep my phone charged all the time. There are pads on the sides and back so my and my work phone are always protected.
