Review on Maintain a Healthy Septic System with Rid-X Platinum Liquid - 24 Fl Oz by Callie Boyd

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Stock for 3 months. Mine leaked/spilled, a huge mess. I prefer powders to liquids.

UPDATE: Ironically, almost by luck, just two weeks after writing this review with the warning that powders are better than liquids, I discovered that someone had accidentally knocked one of these bottles over and it was spreading all over my bottle Shelves and stains from the carpet. At first I didn't notice the inadequacy of this screw cap. I can't remember if my previous bottle was any different, but this one didn't have the plastic cap or perforated ring like the soda bottle. It was just a screw cap that apparently broke off on impact with the ground. 90% of the content has expired. Even though the liquid is said to be stronger, I still prefer powder for this shoddy reason. And shame on the company for not putting a safer lid on, I can't imagine how many transport accidents that would cause. I'll stick with powders, which are safer to ship, take up less storage space, use less product (one scoop versus 8 ounces of liquid liquid), are easier to clean up in case of a spill, don't stain as easily, and are cheaper. Original Rating: ============ This should be added to your tank once a month by simply flushing the whole bottle down the toilet. There are THREE 8 oz products here. Its main purpose is to break down solid waste and prevent clogs and clogs, but the enzymes also help reduce odors and odors a bit. If you have a really smelly tank, there are other products specifically designed to combat the odor. They are recommended for septic systems but we use them in a simple holding tank. Pre-engineered tanks are slightly simpler than septic systems, with fewer bottlenecks to clog. A clog in the reservoir still causes headaches and helps avoid cleaning. It also makes it easier to inflate the tank. This is the "liquid platinum" version and should be stronger than Rix-X powder. The active ingredients in it are enzymes (mixture of bacterial spores, cellulase enzyme, amylase enzyme, protease). enzyme, lipase enzyme) with the addition of water, glycerin, artificial flavors and artificial colors. I don't care about the artificial colors and flavors in Rid-X. I prefer powders and tablets, they're more economical to ship and don't pose the risk of spilling and making a toxic mess in your garage or bathroom. Additionally, some brands of powders and tablets appear to be more natural, contain only enzymes and contain no artificial colors or flavors, and are slightly more economical (e.g., Bio-Clean and Pro-Lab are only $1 per treatment).
