For the past few years I have driven a retro style 7 speed hybrid and bought it at a discount store because it allowed me to sit up straight. Well now I've joined a few bike groups and ride with people who have light bikes with lots of gears and while I could keep up with them it was work. I wanted to buy one of those fancy bikes but I want to sit up! Spring. I asked a bike technician to fit these handlebars to my new "nice" bike and now I can sit up straight. I also had to buy another place but now I can get my cake and eat it! """The bike technician had to replace the brake cables with longer ones because the original cables weren't long enough on this handlebar much closer to the seat. It was an extra effort, but it was worth it!
