One Wasn't Enough

When I was in my 40's I lost the ability to see up close. I bought 6 pairs of reading glasses and scattered them around the house. Well I just got this tape measure for my 50th birthday and now I want to place 6 of them around the house. I have several roulettes of different brands, styles and ages. My favorite used to be the 25ft Self-Locking Comelon, but it had standard sizes on one side of the band and metric on the other. I had already found that I couldn't see anything that wasn't within arm's length and the Comelon film was difficult to read. I liked that the tape stayed out automatically without the need for a cam lock, but didn't like that holding the tape 1 inch and dropping the suitcase off the top of the ladder continued to detach the tape. This master fixes everything I didn't like about Comelon and has an added benefit I didn't know I needed (wanted). This is a 25ft band with standard sizes only. (26' has both). Don't unwind the tape until I call it, and I can attach it even more securely, allowing me to lower the body as far as I want, a certain distance, without falling completely to the ground or reaching to the 25th -Turn over foot mark. The advantage is that the tape is white. Little did I know it would be much easier to read than the yellow one. Each inch is marked in black at the top of the tape, and every eighth increment is marked in red at the bottom of the tape. Stud catalog numbers are marked with a red block every 16 inches. I liked it so much I bought a second one for 25ft and one for 16ft. I plan to buy about 10 more and use them for storage in a few months. If I could give 10 stars I would. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and can recommend the product without reservation.
