Using Vision Therapy - Squint

I write this as a beacon of hope for those of you who suffer from squint! I was recently diagnosed with Acquired Intermittent Alternating Esotropia - wow that's a mouthful! I am 24 years old and the specialist told me that vision therapy would not work for me. After much research, however, I came to the conclusion that the operation was not suitable for me due to the side effects and that the therapy was worth trying. I've watched YouTube videos from experts like Vision Therapy or visionworksforlife.com and Susan Barry's TED Talk. I bought this string and at first it was intimidating and difficult for me. I found a vision therapist next to me who was willing to help me. She advised me to just use one bead on this thread for now and work on seeing a bead and two strands (even if the thread is weak) and moving it back and forth. Because I have trouble seeing double when driving and watching TV, I got a prescription for prism glasses, which are VERY USEFUL. Please study them as they have been very helpful. My vision therapy journey has only just begun, but I can already see differently with this thread. I will definitely update this review as I continue. I really hope this gave at least some hope. Or at least made you feel less alone. The squinting is terrible and I really struggled. Do not give up! Even if doctors tell you there's nothing you can do, do your own research!
