I purposely bought clothes one size larger than my very tall but petite 7 year old daughter because her school has length guidelines for skirts. However, this size 140 dress comes to her knee (she is about 49 inches) so we can only use it as a dress at school for a few months, although I expect the body to be plus size. and the shape will suit her for years when worn with a tunic and trousers. The body is quite roomy and the sleeves are airy, which I wasn't expecting. It's quite adorable and I love the warm material of the sweatshirt. She loves the pattern and goes with many colorful tights and leggings for winter. This dress is more tailored for a medium to round girl. This also happened a few weeks earlier than the earliest possible date, which was nice. Good service, no nasty smell from the packaging and 100% cotton (so may shrink if not cared for properly).
