I ordered an xShot phone holder to hold and mount my iPod touch (5th gen) on one of my tripods. I have some exotic wildlife on my property so I figured being able to set a tripod as close to the 'movement' as possible and remotely capture shots from a safe distance would produce some cool shots. The xShot holds the iPod very securely with virtually no "give" and the 1/4" universal screws make it easy to attach to all my gear. (If you don't already have a tripod, fear not—even without a tripod attached, the flat sides of the mount still help get the shot when placed on a flat surface.) The mount can also be used to to hold the device. vertical when watching movies or surfing the web. I would recommend this mount to anyone who wants to play with their camera phone (or iPod) a little more.
