Review on 🎨 Fast Drying Painting Medium for Watersoluble Oil - DANIEL SMITH, 284391003 by Kristen Simpson

Fast drying

This fast drying colorant dries. QUICKLY! I mixed refined linseed oil with water for the glaze and it took a week or more to dry. The next day it feels sticky, the color does not come off the finger when touched. I'm still waiting 2 or more days to dry before applying another coat just in case, but it might not even be necessary. * It adds a little shine. So if you want to avoid shine, you can use a matte varnish or a glossy varnish after drying to achieve an even shine. *There is also a slight odor due to the desiccant. Don't run out of the room and hide like turpentine or lavender oil, but if you paint in the bedroom like me, you can clean up the painting before bed. Otherwise, for use in the studio or elsewhere, you probably won't notice. Use it as a medium or for glazing and you'll work much faster!
