Review on 🌡️ Dorman 599-210XD Climate Control Module for Specific Vehicle Models by Dustin Citizen

I bought this unit for my 2003 Silverado. My air conditioning wasn't working then and these trucks are known for their air conditioning. Replaced as a last resort as everything else has already been replaced. (It turned out that the connector in the engine compartment was faulty) Long story short, this new air conditioning system worked perfectly, so why not leave it in the pickup? So, I left the new air conditioner, today, August 16, 2021, the unit has already reset the landfill and stopped working. The buttons didn't work, the temperature didn't change, the ventilation didn't change. The only thing that worked was the fan motor control. Immediately after returning home I switched back to my original factory air conditioner and it worked perfectly. I followed the instructions when installing a new bouncer unit but after 2 months of use it stopped working. This is unfortunate timing as it shows it is outside the return window. However, be careful when purchasing refurbished parts. I've never had any luck with replacement parts and this is another example of why I always buy brand new parts.
