I had many doubts about these tires - too light and too soft after my Schwalbe marathon this winter and reports of cracked walls did not inspire confidence. The tires flexed like a figure eight, turning into a small 'O', making them awkward to mount and align properly and very, very stiff. I also had to use a large 700X28/42C (27X1 1/4) tube to accommodate the old single wall rim design. But after driving over 300 miles I can say I fell in love. Good traction, high pressure and light weight keeps me up to date with the guys on the fancy carbon titanium bikes outside of racing. Virtually no wear after using Paselas in terribly cold, rainy and hot, dry Oregon weather. There are no apartments yet. more 🤞 WARNING about pressure: They're said to be able to handle up to 115psi, but you probably won't find 27" rims that "officially" handle that much. Also make sure you have a hook and not a straight side edge if you plan on going over 80psi.
