I wear size XL men's shorts but due to size I went up a size. I'm glad I did as the XXL fits the same as some of my XL shorts that look like it. The shorts themselves are very comfortable to wear when I'm running errands, around the house, hiking and even fishing. I've worn them deep sea fishing and not only were they perfect for this trip, but afterwards we went on a short hike to some of the nearby islands. I am very glad that these shorts come with a belt because although they fit well they have some slack and the belt came in really handy. I could pack whatever I wanted in these shorts and never had to worry about anything falling out. When it came time to climb some hills, these shorts had more than enough stretch, which not only made them comfortable, but never ripped or ripped me during that ride. Even now they are as comfortable as ever and I seem to prefer shorts when taking a pair. They definitely hold up a lot better than some of my other shorts and the best part is they don't shrink when I put them in the dryer.
